About

Hi, I’m Andy! I’m a male, tan and white Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I’m 11 years old and weigh about 30 pounds. My ears stand up tall but my body is low to the ground. I have cute short legs and no tail. I’m really friendly (but scared since I’m lost) so if you see me, please don’t chase me. Call my Mom (anytime day or night) on her cell at 781-264-5243 or call Animal Control at 203-557-3659.

Andy was scared from fireworks and ran and disappeared on New Years Eve while visiting friends in Westport, CT. With the help and support of so many wonderful people, Andy’s search continues. We believe he is in a 2 mile radius from the Wolfpit area in Norwalk, CT. Please everyone be on the lookout for this very special dog, and spread the word to help bring Andy home! He is surely tired, and hungry, and confused. We miss him and love him dearly, and are desperate to get him home. Thank you everyone!

My parents live in Weston, CT (5 minutes away from Westport). My Corgi, Reggie and I live in Manhattan. Reggie loves going to CT to visit his grandparents, and he was hanging out there one day in November. Reggie is very adventurous (like all Corgi’s) and he managed to sneak out of the house through a screen that had a small tear in it. My mom didn’t know he disappeared until an hour later, and she went looking for him all over Weston in her car. She asked everyone if they saw a black and tan Corgi and finally one woman said yes. She said that she saw a Corgi go into a house (and pointed at the house). When my mom rang the doorbell, a woman opened the door, and Reggie was sitting on the couch watching tv. The woman said that she saw Reggie outside and it was right around the time the school buses come. She took him in and was going to take him to the police station to see if he had a chip inside of him – so that they can locate the owner.
The point of my story is that the people in Weston/Westport are really good people and if they see Andy, they will make sure that he is taken care of, and that you will be contacted. I saw the posters all over Weston/Westport this weekend. Please keep me posted if you hear anything, and I will do the same.

Keep the faith!! Say a prayer to St. Francis. We lost our corgi Trent in Kentucky, he is originally from PA. My daughter is in school in Lexington and he got out by accident due to a roommate. He was spotted MANY times, chased by others who attempted to catch him, he made it through a really BUSY train yard, and was clear on the other side of the interstate by going up and over an overpass. I can only imagine your worry!! Keep searching!
